Budimex’s chatbot used to recruit new employees has a chance to win the prestigious Digital Communication Awards (DAC). Polish project competes m.in. with innovative digital solutions from companies such as German Vodafone, Microsoft or ABB.
Budimex’s solution used in employer branding has been qualified for the finals of the competition. Out of over 700 digital projects, the jury of the competition selected 5 final solutions in the employer branding category.
The chatbot was launched by the employer branding team in 2018. Supports the initial recruitment process of job candidates. A virtual recruiter does a great job. It verifies hundreds of reports 24 hours a day. Combined with other innovative recruitment methods, such as a referral bonus or employer branding, which we have been using for some time, it also enables and optimises large recruitment processes for hundreds of different jobs,” says Cezary Mączka, Member of the Management Board of Budimex responsible for m.in. for the HR division.
In just a few months, the chatbot conducted a thousand conversations. He helped to indicate the appropriate recruitment to 630 candidates and arranged interviews for over 100 potential Budimex employees.
DAC is a global competition organized by scientists from Quadriga University in Berlin. The competition has been organized for seven years. In last year’s edition, it was won by companies such as Bosch, Daimler and Henkel. The results of this year’s competition will be announced on 28 September.
