In June, Budimex allocated another half a million zlotys to help in the fight against COVID
Financial support was provided to eight hospitals, two nursing homes and two hospices in the vicinity of which the Budimex Group companies operate. This time, the company’s help will be used by branches in: Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Wołomin, Białystok, Sanniki, Stalowa Wola, Gliwice, Łódź, Tomaszów Mazowiecki and Nowiny near Warsaw. Chełm.
So far, Budimex has provided financial and material support to more than 30 hospitals across Poland in the fight against COVID-19. In addition, we provided assistance to nursing homes, municipalities and hospices. The total amount that the Budimex Group allocates to the fight against the pandemic is over PLN 3 million.
Budimex also actively supports the activities of the “We are together. WE ARE HELPING”. It all started with the campaign of the same name, initiated by Polish entrepreneurs at the beginning of the pandemic. Then the companies joined forces to raise as much money as possible to help hospitals. A thriving foundation was born from a spontaneous initiative, which has so far collected nearly PLN 50 million. Before June, the aid had already been delivered to hospitals and nursing homes in: Kraków, Warsaw, Wałbrzych, Racibórz, Łódź, Puławy, Żyrardów, Sochaczew, Suwałki, Łańcut, Poznań, Sannik and Wrocław.
Budimex also helped in the field of construction works in adapting two hospitals to receive coronavirus patients. It also provides in-kind aid in the form of masks, protective clothing and aseptic fluids.
