Construction works are underway by Budimex on the eastern bypass of Oleśnica in the province of Oleśnica. Lower Silesia. Despite the winter period, the construction is being carried out according to schedule, and the three-and-a-half-kilometer provincial road No. 451 will be put into service in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Construction of the bypass began at the end of 2020. In December, the general contractor laid two layers of mass (substructure and binding) with a length of 0.8 km. Currently, earthworks are underway along the entire main route of the bypass, works related to rainwater drainage and removal of collisions of underground installations. Budimex is also currently involved in m.in. reconstruction of high- and medium-voltage cables of electrical installations and conducts demolition of unnecessary objects and logging.
Over the past month, about 50 units of equipment have been working on the construction site. Despite the winter period, the works are progressing according to schedule.
The contract implemented by Budimex provides for the construction of provincial road No. 451 – the Eastern Bypass of Oleśnica and the strengthening of the existing roadway of the provincial road from the intersection of the designed DW 451 with ul. Warszawska towards the S8 junction. The bypass will be a single carriageway with two lanes in each direction. It will be equipped with bicycle paths. The aim of the investment is to relieve Oleśnica of transit traffic by directing it to the S-8 road. The value of the works is PLN 27.8 million. The investor is the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Service in Wrocław, and the investment is co-financed by the European Union.
