The works included the extension of the gallery with a multi-storey car park and an internal communication system. The construction works were aimed at increasing the retail and service area by 10 thousand. m³. The new part of the gallery was created between the new car park and the existing body of the building. The completed second stage included the construction of a four-storey car park with a total area of 21,500 m2. There are 902 parking spaces on this area. The expansion project was created in the Atelier.com Architectural Office.

Galeria Pomorska is one of the longest existing shopping centres in Bydgoszcz, opened in April 2003. The entire Galeria Pomorska Shopping Center is an area of over 40 thousand. m2, which includes the Carrefour hypermarket.
