In the Northern Water Supply Plant located in Wieliszew near Warsaw, we performed:

1. Modernization of initial ozonation. The scope of work included, m.in:

• delivery and installation of ozone production and dosing installations, as well as installation of a transit ozone pipe
• replacement of the existing DN 1200 fittings (wedge gate valves) with new dampers at the water inlet to the pre-ozone chambers
• relocation of the existing residual ozone destructor
• replacement of existing stop closures, preparation of the site for the construction of the Oxygen Storage, general construction renovation.

2. Modernization of fast sand filters. The scope of work included, m.in:

• replacement in 24 pcs. plate drainage filters for prefabricated slotted drainage and replacement of the filter bed with new two-layer anthracite-sand
• fitting filters with fittings and drives on the filtered water system
• execution of the discharge system to the first degree pumping station. of the first filtrate from each filter
• installation of devices for filtering water quality control and measuring and control equipment on each filter
• modernization of the installation of blowers and water pumping stations for rinsing filters
• replacement of fittings and control and measurement equipment (I&C)
• reconstruction of the central heating system and construction-related works

3. Modernization of the lime installation. The scope of work covered m.in. Modernisation:

• technological installation for the preparation and dosing of lime milk
• accelerator technological installation and technological pumping stations
• lime milk plant
• installation for the removal and dewatering of limescale deposits from the accelerator
• installation of the supply of lime milk preparation system with lime water
• automation and power supply system and leachate pumping station, as well as general construction works, including thermal modernization of the accelerator building.
