We are a good neighbor
When building the tram connection with Wilanów, which is very important for improving the quality of life of Warsaw residents, we wanted to balance the impact of the investment on the environment. And so, in addition to compensatory plantings, we are greening the tram route and the surrounding districts by planting several hundred additional trees.
A child’s illness is a difficult experience for the whole family. For 11 years, we have been implementing an initiative to support both children in hospitals and their caregivers by creating colorful and friendly spaces for them. Over a decade, we have created 42 Zones with the participation of over 300 Budimex volunteers.
We have been caring for local communities for years. One of the initiatives that allow us to improve the quality of life of people living in the vicinity of our projects is “House from the Heart”. Since 2021, as part of the program, we have been supporting those who have been deprived of their home.
The campaign aims to educate the youngest road users about its rules and road safety. Together with Budi the tiger, we pass on knowledge to them in the form of interesting, interactive lessons – so that it stays with them for longer.

The Builder Awards have been awarded for twenty years by the editors and Scientific Council of the “Builder” monthly. The awards honour companies and people who play an important role in Polish construction, architecture and education.

Award in the PARP competition for the best solutions of the Circular Economy (CE)
2023
The aim of the competition for the best circular economy solutions, organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, is to promote innovative and sustainable circular economy practices, focusing on environmental, economic, social and management benefits. The award recognises the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Awarded persons/investments:
- Implementation of an innovative technology of mineral and asphalt mixtures with the use of recycled material from the asphalt surface.
Modernization of the Year 2022, Modernization of the Year – Construction of the 21st Century

National Construction Competition for investors, contractors and designers with a long, over twenty-seven years of tradition. The aim of the activities is to promote and select each year the best construction projects distinguished by special values. The competition is organized in two main categories: New Buildings and Modernized Facilities.

Construction of the Year 2022

The title of “Construction of the Year” is awarded annually to the best construction sites carried out throughout Poland. The selection is made by a special jury, which evaluates a number of factors that make up the final verdict – after a technical visit to the construction site, the quality of works, the organization of the construction site, the time of its implementation, the technical and technological solutions used in the implementation process, as well as occupational safety and health protection, the course and form of financing the investment, the costs of construction of the building, formal and legal solutions in the investment process, the investor’s participation in the implementation are assessed building and the impact of the investment on the environment and the economy of the region. The awards are handed out by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians.
