Budimex received the Friendly Workplace 2026 Special Award, awarded by the MarkaPracodawcy.pl portal. The award goes to employers who consistently and consciously invest in people, creating a modern work environment based on values, mutual respect and a responsible approach to management.
The jury appreciated Budimex’s organizational culture built on the basis of four pillars: ethics, responsibility, ambition and cooperation. The company’s activities for diversity and care for the health and well-being of employees – both physically and mentally – as well as the policy conducive to work-life balance were also highly appreciated.
” This award is of particular importance to us, as it concerns the area that we treat at Budimex as the foundation of the organization. For years, we have been consistently developing a work culture based on trust, responsibility and cooperation, and at the same time we invest in the development of competences, well-being and safety of our employees. We are pleased that these activities have been noticed and appreciated. We show that it is possible to combine the position of a market leader with a responsible approach to employees ,” says Anna Karyś-Sosińska, Member of the Management Board, Director of the Human Resources Management Division at Budimex SA.
Among the awarded initiatives, there were three flagship development programs of the company. Super Leader is a project addressed to the management staff of the Budimex Group, combining the diagnosis of the organizational climate with workshops, coaching and implementation tasks. The fourth edition of the program was attended by 89 leaders. The Young Engineer Academy supports new employees in engineering positions in efficient implementation of their duties – through three thematic blocks: personal effectiveness, professional effectiveness and safety on the construction site. Brick Success , on the other hand, is a program designed for women working on construction contracts and performing key functions in the organization. The last edition was attended by 48 participants, developing competences in communication, building relationships and managing their own potential. Budimex consistently implements the policy of equal opportunities. Transparent rules for recruitment, promotion and remuneration are part of the company’s long-term approach to developing people and building a modern workplace. The editors of MarkaPracodawcy.pl also drew attention to the long-term Volunteer Grant programme, under which employees submit projects addressed to local communities. Every quarter, Budimex’s CSR Committee awards funds to selected initiatives, and their implementation is supported by volunteer employees.
